Description

This is a Specialty Certificate Program!

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is the leading neurological cause of disability among adults. The disability resulting from the progressive and degenerative nature of MS leads individuals with MS to identify and define professionals to help guide their healthcare and personal needs. Other types of professionals, including exercise specialists, personal trainers, aquatic exercise specialists, and vocational rehabilitation specialists may also interact with people with MS at many points in their lives. This manual & course is intended to provide information to any professional that might have the opportunity to work with an individual with MS in an aquatic exercise setting.
