Description

This course provides an overview of exercise programming for obese clients. The course includes recommendations for program design, the benefits of water exercise that are specific to obese clients, the effects of buoyancy on exercise performance and possible modifications to programming. The course also discusses the role of the instructor in promoting exercise and encouraging program adherence.

You must complete 100% of this course within one (1) year after purchase to receive CECs.

Kimberly is a certified NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a NCHEC Health Education Specialist. She was an Associate Editor of the AEA Arthritis Foundation Program Leader Manual, an Editor of the AEA Aquatic Fitness Professional Manual, Seventh Edition, and is a contributing author for Akwa magazine. Kimberly was the recipient of the 2015 AEA Contribution to the Aquatic Industry global award.
