We have basic exercises (movement patterns) we use with clients that can follow a specific progression. We also have many clients with various issues. In this course, we’re going to review the exercises and then make modifications for different populations. Whether you need ideas for a specific client/issue, ideas for group therapy, or ideas to modify exercises for specific people in group fitness class we think this may help. The seven basic movement patterns that form the basis of most human movement are the examples for this course. Modifications will include limb placement, tempo, directional options, stabilization needs and more. Modify as you go!
• Discuss an exercise plan and the reason for the sequence
• Review common modifications that can help a mix of issues
• Review specific modifications for specific issues
• Select ideas that can work for your clients
