This series focuses on top tips and exercises, integrating research and clinical pearls to maximize the therapeutic benefits of the water and outcomes for clients with lower extremity impairments.  We break it down into 3 parts hips, knees and ankle along with bonus material for detailed glute medius strengthening and deep-water interventions.  Each section(module) we will focus on the progression of mobility, strength and functional restoration for each joint sharing pro tips to get the most out of your sessions. 

Beth Scalone, PT, DPT, OCS, is an aquatic and orthopedic physical therapy specialist and owner of North County Water & Sports Therapy Center in San Diego, California. She graduated from UCONN and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University. She has received awards from ATRI and the aquatic section of the APTA. Additional certifications include Master Instructor Burdenko Method, AquaStretch™ trainer, and certified STOTT Pilates™ instructor.
